Adjudication Criteria
This category seeks to reward the initiative or business that, in the viewpoint of the adjudication committee, best exploits the use of technology to address the world’s most critical social and economic challenges. This encompasses, but is not limited to, material and nonmaterial living standards, education, health, and equal opportunity. The technology used to great effect in these areas can vary from artificial intelligence, cloud-based platforms, blockchain, and smart tech.
Main Adjudication Criteria
1 Value Added
The tangible or intangible added value that the solution provides to the society at large.
2 Innovation
Use of technology to promote an innovative approach to the provision of service within an online service or end-user experience provision context.
3 Social Impact and Administrative Gain
The degree of process and administrative simplification garnered through the implementation of the tech-based or online solution.
4 Objective
The solution’s objective/s & the situation it is seeking to address.
5 User Experience
The extent to which the solution provides stakeholders with a unique and beneficial online experience through the use of technology.
Bonus Criterion
6 Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)
Recognising those who made a considerable effort to contribute towards environmental sustainability, community welfare and those focusing on good corporate governance.
