Adjudication Criteria
This award recognises the Malta-based tech start-up with the highest potential for growth.
Main Adjudication Criteria
1 Unique selling proposition (USP) of the product or service offered
2 Market and growth potential of the start-up
3 Team’s capability to execute the business strategy
4 Extent of leveraging ICTs in achieving the business’ USP
5 Sustainability/Viability
Bonus Criterion
6 Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG)
Recognising those who made a considerable effort to contribute towards environmental sustainability, community welfare and those focusing on good corporate governance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be ‘independently owned’. This defined as a business which is substantially owned by its founders and/or a group of independent investors; is not quoted on any stock market; and is not a subsidiary company of another business.
- Operates from Malta but may target international markets
